About The Position

The Human Resources Department is accepting applications for the temporary and part-time position of Parks and Facilities Maintenance Worker in the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department. The normal work schedule will include evenings and weekends. Candidates will generally work under one of three schedules: Seasonal employees typically work up to 1,000 hours during a 5-month seasonal period. 1,500-hour employees may work up to 40 hours per week for approximately 9 months, with the possibility of occasional year-round assignments based on department needs. 1,000-hour employees usually work up to 25 hours per week for a maximum of 1,000 hours per fiscal year. Requirements

  • None Required.
  • Education that ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
  • Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
  • Possession of CPR and First Aid certificates within six (6) months of hire.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
