About The Position

Southern Valet, powered by Propark, is seeking reliable, energetic, and exciting individuals for immediate needs in their hotel valet operations in downtown Greenville, SC. The role involves cheerfully greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, explaining parking rates, and inspecting vehicles according to company guidelines. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional appearance, resolve issues, and be comfortable being active outdoors for most of the day, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.

Requirements

• At least 25 years old.
• A valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
• Energetic, outgoing.
• Able to stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Nice To Haves

• Valet parking experience: 2 year+
• Customer service experience: 2 year+
• Manual transmission driving experience: 2 year+

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
• Explain the parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles.
• Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
• Maintain company uniform appearance.
• Resolve issues in a positive and helpful way.
• Be outside and active most of your day, standing, walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs.
