About The Position

Requirements

  • Valid Florida Driver's License Required
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Six months to one year guest service and/or parking experience preferred.
  • One to three years in a cash handling position with face-to-face customer contact preferred.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and professionally direct guests and drivers to the correct areas, managing traffic control and redirecting vehicles.
  • Provide information to guests regarding parking, drop-off/pick-up, and general resort information.
  • Assist in setting up parking flow using cones, barricades, and other equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by monitoring the area, removing trash, and maintaining equipment.
  • Understand and participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
  • Assist with loading guests into resort buses and direct buses to appropriate parking locations.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently using designated systems.
  • Input guest and vehicle information into computer systems and maintain key logs.
  • Provide transportation for Valet runners to and from parking areas.
  • Ensure all paperwork and information logs are completed properly and accurately.
  • Drive vehicles to and from parked areas and secure them properly.
  • Greet guests, open vehicle doors, explain valet procedures, pricing, and offer additional services.
  • Perform access control responsibilities for the valet area.
  • Up-sell guest transactions by using persuasive selling techniques for parking options.
  • Process parking pass transactions and provide appropriate parking and park information.
  • Practice proper cash handling procedures and detect/report counterfeit currency and credit cards.
  • Resolve guest concerns utilizing knowledge of operations and the resort.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
