About The Position

The Parking Cashier handles cash and electronic transactions with parking customers. The role provides customer assistance, processes parking tickets and payments, and accurately reconciles and accounts for funds. On-the-job training is provided. The position is full-time, PM shift, and includes weekends, with an advertised pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
• No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Nice To Haves

• One year of similar experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach and greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist guests respectfully with questions, problems, and concerns.
• Relay customer concerns or information to the shift lead or Operations Manager as necessary.
• Respond promptly to provide excellent customer service.
• Follow company procedures and comply with safety regulations.
• Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets.
• Match visitor tickets to the parking rate schedule, collect the proper payment, and provide correct change.
• Complete lost-ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
• Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges, and accurately account for all funds in the cashier drawer.
• Perform revenue drops according to location procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
• Answer the telephone promptly and courteously when required.
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
• Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates at all times.
