About The Position

The Parking Attendant will be responsible for managing traffic flow at the entrance and exits, taking payments, and providing information to visitors. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capacity to stand for extended periods. The attendant will also be responsible for reporting any safety hazards or unusual occurrences to supervisors.

Requirements

Customer service and courtesy skills are a must.
Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Self-motivated individual with a pleasant personality.
Must enjoy working with people.
Must be a team player.
Must maintain a neat and clean appearance.
No visible tattoos.
Facial hair must be clean or neatly trimmed.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment.
Must be able to clear a background check.

Nice To Haves

Cashier experience preferred.
May use a mobile device to help with traffic flow and for special event parking.

Responsibilities

Act as a cashier at the entrance, accepting cash and credit card payments.
Control traffic at entrance and exits as needed.
Gain thorough knowledge of the park facility.
Provide directions to on-site park facilities and parking areas for incoming vehicles.
Report any accidents, observed or suspected park violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Park Ranger and immediate Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
