Requirements

  • Some High School
  • The ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record, which will be reviewed annually.
  • No moving violations or minor incidents in the past three years
  • No major violations (e.g., DUI) in the past five years
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Able to run, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to safely enter, exit, and drive various vehicles.
  • Frequently exposed to moving vehicles, outdoor elements, and moderate to loud noise.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, vibration, and weather extremes.
  • Able to lift, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Must meet the physical requirements of the position and work effectively in an active environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous valet or hospitality service experience, preferable in a private club, resort or hotel
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience operating manual vehicles

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve members’ and guests’ vehicles while providing a courteous and welcoming arrival and departure experience.
  • Operate a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Greet and acknowledge members and guests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist members and guests entering and exiting vehicles; opens doors as needed.
  • Coordinate with valet team to ensure prompt and safe vehicle retrieval.
  • Maintain orderly flow of traffic in arrival and departure areas.
  • Provide accurate directions and club information as needed.
  • Monitor entrances to ensure only authorized persons gain access to the club.
  • Issue and collect valet claim tickets accurately.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized entrances, driveways, and parking areas.
  • Attend staff meetings and required training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
