About The Position

Lakeland Church is seeking a Part-Time Park Ranger to serve as the primary point of contact for families visiting Lakeland Park. The role involves ensuring guests have an excellent experience, investing in the lives of the next generation by showing them the love of Christ, and upholding the church's mission. This is a non-seasonal position requiring applicants to be 18+ years old. The available shift is Sunday from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm. This role is considered a calling to serve, not just a paycheck.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• The ability to actively listen and communicate with kids and adults.
• A friendly and positive attitude.
• A love for families and a desire to model the love of Christ.
• An enthusiastic personality that will encourage guests to have fun.
• Feel a call by God to serve in this role.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in childcare or teaching.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and assist them in checking in.
• Represent the Church and be responsible for ensuring that the Park’s guidelines are followed.
• Interact with children and encourage appropriate play.
• Assist with parties and group events.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
