Your New Role As a permanent, full-time Park Ranger 2, you will perform and oversee a wide range of duties to protect, maintain, operate, and repair state park lands, natural and cultural resources, facilities, structures, equipment, and systems. This role requires skills in the building trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscape maintenance as well as specialized program expertise, including resource interpretation, natural and cultural resource restoration, utility infrastructure operation, and park rule enforcement. These responsibilities support the maintenance and operations of OPRD programs and properties within the Detroit Lake Management Unit.
