Requirements

  • One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Clean park buildings and assist with routine building and equipment upkeep
  • Mow lawns, maintain trails, and perform landscaping and shoreline maintenance
  • Assist skilled staff with carpentry, concrete work, plumbing, electrical tasks, and demolition
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and park machinery in a safe and proper manner
  • Provide directions, answer questions, and respond to visitor comments
  • Support scheduled projects and maintenance at both Kettle Creek and Ole Bull State Parks
