About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Park Landscape and Civil Design Lead for the upcoming project opportunity: John Chavis Memorial Park – Phase 2. This role involves executing the full scope of park landscape and civil design, coordinating various design elements, producing necessary documentation, and supporting the project through implementation and final delivery.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience performing Park Landscape and Civil Design Lead responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate landscape, grading, drainage, accessibility, utilities, recreation features, permitting, and construction-document requirements.
Confirm existing conditions, stakeholder needs, governing criteria, interfaces, constraints, and acceptance requirements for the work package.
Produce calculations, architecture or design basis, drawings, specifications, schedules, estimates, and technical decision records required for review.
Resolve interdisciplinary reviews, constructability or implementation comments, RFIs, substitutions, and approved design changes.
Support implementation testing and commissioning; reconcile final comments and deliver approved record documents and technical handoff materials.
Trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence.
Review official solicitation materials and addenda affecting this workstream; document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions.
Prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence.
Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records and escalate blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness.
