About The Position

This role involves providing exceptional customer service and processing various financial transactions. The Teller will be responsible for managing their cash drawer, adhering to bank policies and procedures, and completing assigned tasks. The schedule may vary based on staffing needs.

Requirements

Exceptional appearance and verbal communication.
Knowledge in various programs: gold teller, CIM, etc.
Knowledge in bank policies, procedures, and Regulatory rules.
Responsible for their own cash drawer and balancing with the teller system.
Responsible for their checks received and balancing with the teller system.
Maintaining their cash drawer not to exceed the daily limit.
Responsible for securing cash, coin, negotiable items at all times.
Adherence to various dual control procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional appearance and verbal communication with coworkers and customers.
Address customer questions and concerns regarding accounts, deposits, withdrawals, debit cards, statements, checks, etc.
Build and maintain customer relationships.
Utilize knowledge in various programs such as gold teller and CIM.
Complete required ongoing training via internet or internal resources.
Maintain knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and Regulatory rules.
Process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
Process check cashing.
Process loan payments, including interest payments, principal adjustments, and payoffs.
Process fees such as late fees and legal fees.
Handle night drop and mail transactions.
Process Safe Deposit Box payments.
Process commercial change orders.
Perform various General Ledger postings and Journal Entry’s.
Issue Cashier Checks for internal and external customers.
Balance own cash drawer with the teller system.
Balance checks received with the teller system.
Maintain cash drawer within the daily limit.
Buy and sell cash to and from vaults.
Secure cash, coin, and negotiable items at all times.
Adhere to various dual control procedures.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
