About The Position

The Parent Liaison is responsible for providing essential administrative and data management support for the Health Exploration Program. They work closely with parents and students to provide a safe, well-coordinated educational environment.

Requirements

Four (4) years of experience in a related field. Relevant education may substitute on a year for year basis.
Two (2) years of experience with youth, school, or community programs.
Experience serving various populations.

Responsibilities

Gather and maintain accurate student and team attendance.
Ensure all paperwork is kept accurate and safe including attendance, class rosters, and student support files.
Assist with staff, student, and parent relations.
Provide translation to parents and guardians if needed.
Work with bus rider for student coordination if needed.
Serve as the point of contact for first aid medical attention, calling parents or guardians and coordinating with the operations team on incidents.
Coordinate with staff and parents for student check in and check out during programming.
Recognize and work through conflicts, invite discussion on differences, and arrange for a third party to assist, if necessary.
Maintain open communication and mentorship with students.
Lead the Scholar Success Plan efforts and work with teachers to redirect students.
