About The Position

The Parent Liaison is responsible for providing essential administrative and data management support for the Health Exploration Program. They work closely with parents and students to provide a safe, well-coordinated educational environment.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of experience in a related field. Relevant education may substitute on a year for year basis.
  • Two (2) years of experience with youth, school, or community programs.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and maintain accurate student and team attendance.
  • Ensure all paperwork is kept accurate and safe including attendance, class rosters, and student support files.
  • Assist with staff, student, and parent relations.
  • Provide translation to parents and guardians if needed.
  • Work with bus rider for student coordination if needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for first aid medical attention.
  • Call parents or guardians.
  • Coordinate with the operations team on incidents.
  • Coordinate with staff and parents for student check in and check out during programming.
  • Recognize and work through conflicts, invite discussion on differences, and arrange for a third party to assist, if necessary.
  • Maintain open communication and mentorship with students.
  • Lead the Scholar Success Plan efforts and work with teachers to redirect students.
