About The Position

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in child development, early childhood education, clinical counseling, social work, school counseling, school psychology or a related field (or concurrent enrollment in a master’s program).
  • Experience in child/family intervention.
  • Undergraduate major in child development, human development, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish (with excellent oral, reading, and written bilingual skills) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide parent education courses for parents/caregivers in an in-person group format or online.
  • Facilitate 9-session parenting courses.
  • Conduct “one-time” presentations on various parenting topics in the local area.
  • Complete necessary paperwork.
  • Facilitate after-class debriefing sessions with children’s program staff as needed.
  • Follow a fully developed parent education model (and will be trained to use this model before leading groups).
  • Travel throughout the Inland Empire to various sites.
