About The Position

Requirements

  • Equivalent to the completion of one year of college. (Responsible experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.)
  • A minimum of two years as a volunteer or paid teacher aide.
  • Direct involvement in the local community programs.
  • DOJ and FBI Criminal Background Check
  • TB Test within the last 60 days
  • Complete district Mandated Reporter training, Sexual Harassment, etc.
  • 30 WPM Typing Certificate (online tests are not acceptable)

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the school principal, coordinate the recruitment, placement, and functions of parent and community volunteers.
  • Act in a public relations capacity.
  • Perform delegated clerical and liaison responsibilities of the program.
  • Do related work as required.
