Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and community.
  • Ability to author reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients’ parents, and public.
  • Required to have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full member registration process and grant compliance, as needed.
  • Ensure clubs maintain complete membership files securely on site and electronically.
  • Serves as receptionist.
  • Supports and provides assistance to parents, as needed.
  • Communicates relevant programs and activities to parents, teachers, staff and school site’s contact.
  • Plan, facilitate, organize and communicate monthly family event and document activities in writing, flyers, and photos.
  • Maintain monthly parent communication log.
  • Maintain updates to family contact information in MCH (My Club Hub).
  • Develop and distribute monthly newsletter & calendar to keep parents informed of afterschool activities, community resources, etc.
  • Responsible for verifying daily attendance utilizing MCH.
  • Recruit parents to volunteer, as needed.
  • Recruit members by attending schools’ open house and other approved community events.
  • Refer parents to community resources, as requested.
  • Attend community meetings that will help you connect to community resources for families.
  • Demonstrate professionalism.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
