About The Position

SCR Medical Transportation LLC is seeking a Paratransit Driver to transport clients safely and efficiently from their pickup points to their destinations. This role involves using a vehicle, performing pre-trip inspections, conducting child checks post-route, and ensuring the vehicle adheres to DOT regulations. SCR has been a leader in ADA Paratransit services since 1986, dedicated to providing reliable, safe, clean, and comfortable transportation for mobility-challenged individuals, connecting them to essential services, friends, and family. The company seeks drivers who are committed to helping others and understand how to safely transport clients.

Requirements

• Must hold valid license for 5+ consecutive years.
• Ability to obtain a CDL with a Passenger (P) Endorsement
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility devices on and off a vehicle and/or to and from buildings
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from destinations.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
