About The Position
This role involves providing paratransit services, focusing on customer service, safety, and adherence to operational procedures. The attendant will assist customers, manage challenging situations, and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements, including drug and alcohol testing.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Ability to pass a criminal background check as regulated by the client
- Ability to pass mandated FTA Drug and Alcohol testing
Nice To Haves
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Ability to work split shifts
- Provide excellent customer service by consistently demonstrating friendliness, courtesy, professional and empathetic attitude with all customers
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to work under stressful situations and meet strict timelines
- Ability to manage difficult customers
- Ability to lift/move 25 lbs
- Ability to follow all company safety and operational rules and procedures
- Subject to FTA Drug and Alcohol program
