Paraprofessional at Reagan Middle School (2 Available)
About The Position
Dixon School District #170 is accepting applications for two Classroom Paraprofessional positions at Reagan Middle School. The position is 37.5 hours per week. Paraprofessionals monitor and supervise students and work in a classroom setting or one-on-one with a student as needed. The hourly rate is based on lane and step placement for the 2026–27 school year under the DESPA collective bargaining agreement, with a stated range of $15.00 to $18.41 per hour. The role includes sick leave, personal leave, health, vision, dental and life insurance, and IMRF retirement. Requirements
- Have Highly Qualified Parapro Approval, demonstrated by 60 hours of post-secondary work shown on a transcript or a passing score on the paraprofessional assessment, or a diploma or GED.
- Have an interest and ability to work with students and teachers.
- Be able to work with others as well as independently.
- Be able to multitask.
