About The Position
The Hope Learning Center is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join their school-based team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide direct support to students with special needs, helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The Hope Learning Center is the premier provider of educational and therapeutic services for individuals with special needs, committed to creating an environment where students, families, and staff feel supported and inspired.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
- Act 34 State Criminal History Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance (DOE)
- Act 168 Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Recent Physical/TB Test

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support with classwork, tests, and activities
- Reinforce learning concepts under teacher or therapist supervision
- Support students in following IEP and behavior plans, including ABA strategies
- Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, playgrounds, and on field trips
- Assist students with personal needs such as mobility, toileting, and self-care
- Foster a safe and respectful learning environment while maintaining professional relationships with staff and students
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director to support student success
