Requirements
- Possess an Associate’s Degree
- Have obtained an active Para-pro Certification
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
- Must be able to meet the requirements of an ROP-eligible driver, including having an valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Works as an active team member of the Education Department, providing instructional services to students.
- Takes direction from certified staff to deliver and assist in instruction of classes.
- Implements effective classroom management strategies.
- Conducts small group instruction, as well as individual instruction to students, as necessary.
- Tracks attendance.
- Maintains weekly grades.
- Ensures student grades are available and posted.
