About The Position

Be a trusted support for children and families—where it matters most. We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Paraprofessional to support children, adolescents, and families through in-home services, supervised visitation, parenting education, and community resource coordination. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the community, values relationship-building, and wants to make a direct, positive impact on family stability and child well-being. As a Paraprofessional, you play a vital role in strengthening families, ensuring child safety, and supporting positive outcomes. Your presence, advocacy, and consistency help families navigate challenging moments and move toward stability and success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field, with appropriate training or credentials
  • 2+ years of experience as a Community Support Individual, Paraprofessional, or Case Manager in homes, schools, or community settings
  • Proven experience working with at-risk children, adolescents, and families
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Cultural humility and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Laptop, valid Georgia driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel off-site

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home supervised visitation and parenting education to families
  • Serve as a liaison between families and mental health professionals, ensuring coordinated and consistent care
  • Act as a parent aide, offering guidance, support, and skill-building
  • Conduct drug screens in accordance with program requirements
  • Provide transportation for children and adolescents to appointments, visits, and services
  • Advocate for children and families, which may include: Writing reports, Attending court hearings, school meetings, panel reviews, and case conferences
  • Connect families to community resources and supportive services
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation, including: Progress notes, updated service plans/goals, and termination reports
  • Submission of documentation within 72 hours of each visit or cancelled appointment
  • Requesting additional service authorization as needed to prevent disruptions
