About The Position
This is a full contract position for 190 days, with benefits as specified in the employee contract. The contract will be prorated based on the actual start date.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree, 60 college credit hours or passing score on ParaPro Praxis exam.
- Ability to work with struggling students
Nice To Haves
- Interested in pursuing a certified teaching licensure
Responsibilities
- Deliver small group prescriptive instruction in accordance with the school's designated intervention model.
- Maintain daily lesson plans for each group.
- Regularly monitor and report student progress.
- Administer assessments required for program placement.
- Perform clerical duties which include lesson planning, collection and recording of data on a weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis, weekly itineraries, and other reports as requested.
- Attend monthly training sessions regarding program implementation.
- Participate in intervention team meetings at the building level.
- Other duties as assigned.
