About The Position

Mora Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time position helps foster a positive learning atmosphere and enhance student success through collaboration with educators.

Responsibilities

Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with varying needs, including students with disabilities.
Monitor student progress and behavior, and provide feedback to teachers as necessary.
Help create a safe and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
Assist with classroom management and supervise students during activities, including recess and lunch.
Prepare instructional materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning community.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.
