About The Position

This role is for a Paraprofessional (LTS). All Paraprofessionals are required to possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, candidates must meet specific educational or assessment qualifications to be considered for the position. Newly hired individuals who do not initially meet these requirements will need to pass the Parapro assessment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its recognized equivalent.
• Complete two years of study at an institution of higher education OR Obtain an associate's (or higher) degree (must provide supporting documents).
• Newly hired paraprofessionals who do not meet one of these requirements will be required to certify through the Parapro assessment as soon as possible after being hired.
• Meet a proficiency target of 455 on the Parapro standardized assessment.
• Meet a local proficiency score of 450 on the Parapro assessment to achieve local status.
