About The Position

Welcome to Love's! Retail Accounting is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant II to join the Love’s Truck Solutions Accounting team, responsible for managing daily accounting operations and identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhancement.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting typically required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent time management skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Complete journal entries.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, identifying key trends or variances.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers, taking further action when necessary.
• Support in the preparation of deliverables for operations and communicate supporting information.
• Complete various regulatory filings.
• Use independent judgment in developing enhancements to the efficiency and effectiveness of tasks, reports, or other procedures.
• Understand the Company’s reporting systems and processes.
• Build productive working relationships with other accounting departments and operations.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
