About The Position
The Paraprofessional/Specialized Support position at Parkview is listed as 24.25 weekly hours. Paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, math, and classroom instruction through one of these options: an associate’s degree or higher, 48 units from an institution of higher education, or a passing score on the Hueneme para assessment. Applicants must submit a completed EdJoin application, resume, high school diploma, and proof of proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Applications will be screened, and selected applicants will be invited to interview. Hueneme para assessments are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.; appointments can be arranged through the Personnel/Benefits Technician.
