Paraprofessional/Specialized Support SHINE
About The Position
The Paraprofessional/Specialized Support SHINE position is scheduled for 13.5 hours per week at various sites. Paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, math, and classroom instruction through one of the listed qualifying pathways. Applicants must submit a completed application packet, including a fully completed EdJoin application, resume, high school diploma, and proof of proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Applications are screened, and selected applicants are invited to interview. Hueneme para assessments are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.; appointments can be scheduled with the Personnel/Benefits Technician.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, math, and classroom instruction through one of the following: an associate's degree or higher; 48 units from an institution of higher education; or a passing score on the Hueneme para assessment.
- Resume required.
- Submit a completed EdJoin application, resume, high school diploma, and proof of proficiency in reading, writing, and math.
