About The Position
The Paraprofessional/Specialized Support SHINE position is 17 hours per week at various sites. Paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, math, and classroom instruction through an associate's degree or higher, 48 units from an institution of higher education, or a passing score on the Hueneme para assessment. A resume is required. Para assessments are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.; applicants should contact the Personnel/Benefits Technician to schedule an appointment. Applicants must submit a completed EdJoin application, resume, high school diploma, and proof of proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Applications are screened, and selected candidates are invited to interview.
