About The Position
The Paraprofessional/Specialized Support position is listed as 29.25 weekly hours. Paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, math, and classroom instruction through one of the following: an associate's degree or higher, 48 units from an institution of higher education, or a passing score on the Hueneme para assessment. Applicants must submit a completed application packet consisting of a fully completed EdJoin application, a resume, a high school diploma, and proof of proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Applications will be screened, and selected applicants will be invited to interview. Hueneme para assessments are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.; applicants may contact Edith Marin to schedule an appointment.
