About The Position
Alba-Golden ISD is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide to support learning. The position works closely with classroom teachers to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes student growth and development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with students.
- Successful results of a criminal and employment background check.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate preferred.
- Experience working with young children preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom instruction and activities.
- Support students with learning tasks, routines, and transitions.
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization.
- Monitor and supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, and playground.
- Assist with other campus activities and duties as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with students and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
