About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is seeking passionate and collaborative Special Education Paraprofessionals for Extended School Year (ESY) positions in the Maplewood, MN area. This role involves working in a school-based setting to make a meaningful impact. The positions are in-person and will take place from July 6-23, Monday through Thursday. This is a summer 2026 position.
Requirements
- 60 college credits or a ParaPro certificate.
- Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric).
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in the school setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in a school-based setting for Extended School Year (ESY) programs.
- Work with elementary and secondary students.
