Paraprofessional / Behavior Technician (ABA) – Queens, NY (Urgently Hiring)
About The Position
Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and reliable Paraprofessional/Behavior Technician to provide individualized 1:1 support for a student in a structured school setting in Queens. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to work closely with children while implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support skill development and positive behavior. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and are looking to grow within the field of behavioral health. The position is located in an all-boys school in Queens, with opportunities available for both school-day and after-school hours. Additional paid driver opportunities are available for candidates with a vehicle.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Experience working with children
- Strong reliability, professionalism, and communication skills
- Ability to follow structured plans and accept feedback
- Data entry skills for session notes
Nice To Haves
- Having a car is a plus (additional compensation and hours available)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support using ABA-based strategies
- Assist with classroom routines, engagement, and behavior support
- Implement individualized plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record basic session data
- Maintain clear and professional communication with supervisors and team members
