About The Position

Provide clinical support to patients under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals. Deliver paramedical services, assist with procedures, and contribute to patient care and safety.

Requirements

• Diploma, certificate, or training in a paramedical, medical technician, or related program.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or equivalent training.
• Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or paramedical setting preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including patient transfers, lifting, and prolonged standing.
• Clear criminal background check and compliance with workplace health and safety screening.
• Effective communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient assessments, basic treatments, and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to interventions.
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and treatment areas according to protocols.
• Collect and process clinical specimens and perform routine point-of-care testing as authorized.
• Provide emergency care support, including basic life support and stabilization measures.
• Document patient care activities accurately and communicate changes in condition to the care team.
