About The Position

Sampson County EMS is seeking a Part-Time Paramedic to join their team. Established in 1990, the service has grown to provide top-tier EMT-Paramedic care in North Carolina, handling approximately 12,000 service calls annually with a fleet of seven ambulances and Quick Response Vehicles (QRVs). The role operates under the direction of a Medical Director and North Carolina Office of EMS approved treatment protocols. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in emergency medical care.
Valid NC driver's license.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective public engagement.

Responsibilities

Provide top-tier EMT-Paramedic care in North Carolina.
Handle approximately 12,000 service calls annually.
Operate under the direction of the Medical Director and North Carolina Office of EMS approved treatment protocols.
Utilize advanced equipment and treatments such as Whole Blood products, IV pumps, RSI, LUCAS devices, Ballards, and more.
Research and present new advancements in the EMS field.
Provide professional, prompt, and empathetic Emergency Medical care.
Continuously strive to enhance the comprehensive and clinically sophisticated EMS System.
