About The Position

Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, working with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team. Care is provided to patients of all ages experiencing injury or illness, using appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move, and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Complete required documentation and other assigned duties that support efficient EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude. This is a PRN position with varying 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Two years of experience within an active EMS system providing Advanced Life Support (ALS).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications.
• ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire.
• ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within the first year of employment.
• Current state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• For employee base fleet driver eligibility: between 21 and 79 years of age.
• For employee base fleet driver eligibility: proof of valid personal automobile insurance coverage in New Jersey.
• For employee base fleet driver eligibility: no reported driving-related violations or accidents in the past three years.
