About The Position

Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of Paramedic training. This PRN role requires completion of a state-approved Paramedic program, current Georgia certification, a valid driver's license, and current ACLS, BLS, and CPR credentials. Previous experience is desirable.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Completion of a state-approved Paramedic program, verified through a primary source.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Current Georgia certification.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CPR credentials.
• Proficiency in patient care skills within the scope of training.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
• Motor coordination, manual dexterity, and physical condition to lift, carry, extricate, and administer care to patients.
• Near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle during the day or night; corrective lenses are permitted.
