About The Position

Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of Paramedic training. This is a PRN position with Vitruvian Health, a healthcare system serving northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Completion of a state-approved Paramedic Program, verified through a primary source.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Current Georgia certification.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CPR.
• Proficiency in patient care skills within the scope of training.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Motor coordination, manual dexterity, and physical condition sufficient to lift, carry, extricate, and administer care to patients.
• Near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle during the day or night; corrective lenses are permitted.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is desirable.
