About The Position

HCA HealthONE Aurora is hiring a Paramedic to provide technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively. The Paramedic works under the direct supervision and responsibility of ED physicians and provides care in accordance with physician orders, policies, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies. The role also performs assigned laboratory testing according to each test’s protocol, documents results, and communicates critical results as defined.

The scheduled shift is 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. HCA HealthONE Aurora is part of HCA Healthcare and offers a broad range of emergency and other healthcare services in the Denver metro area.

Requirements

• Current certification or licensure as a Paramedic under state requirements.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical procedures and provide care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively.
• Work under the direct supervision and responsibility of Emergency Department physicians, following physician orders, policies, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Perform assigned laboratory testing according to the protocol for each test.
• Document laboratory results and communicate critical results as defined.
