About The Position

This position requires an individual with alertness and skill to recognize symptoms and good judgment to select proper treatment for unusual and/or unfavorable conditions. The role demands resourcefulness in emergency situations and the ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care. It involves occasional periods of physical exertion and stamina to work effectively under adverse conditions, including the use of appropriate body mechanics when lifting and transferring patients or equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Indiana.
• National Registry Paramedic certification.
• Current certification in ACLS, PALS, BLS.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is preferred.
