About The Position

Special Events Paramedic (Standby Events) will perform duties associated with providing standby services, transport services, and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and LIFEwest operational policies. This role is part of the LIFEwest Special Operations Team, which includes Tactical Emergency Medical Services (TEMS), Sonoma Raceway EMS service, Sonoma Horse Park Events, Strike Team deployment, and local standby events. All training and local Paramedic accreditation is paid for by the employer (LIFEwest Ambulance).

• Paramedic accreditation

Responsibilities

• Providing standby services
• Providing transport services
• Providing emergency medical care to the sick and injured
• Working all large events (Sonoma Raceway: NASCAR, NHRA, etc...)

Benefits

• Daily overtime after 8 hours
