About The Position

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc., contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, rescue and/or fire services. The company is seeking full-time Paramedic/Firefighters for its Crete Township contract. Starting base annual pay is $78,840.32, with a listed wage of $23.69 per hour.

The Paramedic/Firefighter provides medical care and patient transportation at the EMT-P level, within the scope of practice stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or the EMS Commission of Illinois.

Requirements

• Paramedic license.
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter certification.
• CPR certification.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification; Metro will provide training.
• PALS certification; Metro will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level within the applicable scope of practice.
