As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and exceptional Associate Attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to join our team and contribute meaningfully to our expanding commercial litigation practice.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of civil litigation procedures, as well as state and federal court rules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding time management skills with a proven ability to consistently meet strict court and internal deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to function effectively and maintain composure in a high-paced, high-stakes, and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Unwavering commitment to maintaining confidentiality, exercising high-level discretion, and using exceptional judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard legal case management software.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with attorneys to discuss case strategies, statuses, and assigned projects.
  • Draft, review, and format pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Manage e-discovery processes, including the collection, review, and production of electronic documents.
  • Coordinate and execute state and federal court filings, ensuring strict compliance with local rules and procedures.
  • Assist in comprehensive trial preparation by organizing exhibits, assembling trial binders, and coordinating witness files.
  • Conduct factual and legal research to support case development.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and our internal team.
  • Process case documents and maintain meticulously organized hard copy and electronic case files.
  • Perform other related legal and administrative duties as assigned to support the litigation team.
