About The Position
Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm recognized for understanding client needs and delivering expected results. The Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA is seeking a General Liability Paralegal to join their growing team.
Requirements
- College degree or work experience equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience.
- Experience of proactively handling an attorney’s case list required.
- Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare subpoenas, review and summarize discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and medical records completely.
- Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations, calendar relevant deadlines with strong follow up skills.
- Draft motions to compel, sanctions, for extraordinary relief and motions to enforce subpoenas; assist with general motion practice.
- Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches.
