Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of real estate transactional and financing paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
Proactive and flexible.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience with electronic document management systems.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic recordings and official records searches.
Strong organization skills and detail-oriented.
Ability to communicate with clients and to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Filesite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Title insurance examination, preparation of title commitments and policies, and working with title companies.
Due diligence reviews of documents.
Handling commercial closings and preparing related documents, including UCC financing statements, closing instruction letters, and closing documents and binders.
Drafting and preparing deeds, mortgages, financing statements, and other real estate transactional and financing documents.
Electronic recordings and official records searches.
Formation of corporations, limited liability companies, and other entities.
Communicating with clients and working independently.
