Requirements

  • AEC or DEC in Legal Techniques (Paralegal Studies).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Office 365, and DocuSign.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of corporate and commercial law, contracts, or experience in the entertainment industry (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage requests addressed to the legal team.
  • Manage the contract process through an automated contract management software (CLM).
  • Draft and review various contracts and legal documents.
  • Develop and maintain templates and precedents for legal documents.
  • Keep corporate documents, books, registers, and insurance files up to date.
  • Support operational teams and contribute to the improvement of the legal team’s tools, processes, and special projects.
