About The Position

InvestX, launched in 2014, is a late-stage venture fund with over US$700 million in investments and 35+ portfolio companies. They work with leading North American wealth management firms and family office clients, offering multi-position and single-purpose funds. InvestX is backed by financial institutions Jefferies, Virtu Financial, and Canaccord Genuity. The company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly responsive part-time Paralegal (20 hours per week) to support their Canada and US legal and compliance operations from their New York office, which is a remote position. This role is ideal for an experienced paralegal who thrives in a fast-moving financial services environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities with precision and discretion. The Paralegal will work closely with internal legal, compliance, operations, and sales teams, as well as external counsel, to ensure legal matters move forward efficiently and deadlines are consistently met.

Requirements

Paralegal Certificate or equivalent legal training.
3–6+ years’ experience in financial services, securities, or corporate law.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage a large workload volume, competing priorities and demands.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
