About The Position

Small Business Lending, LLC. is looking to add a Paralegal to its team. The Paralegal is responsible for assisting closing attorneys in preparing loan closing packages in connection with U.S. Small Business Administration ("SBA") loans.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial loan closings, specifically extensive familiarity with SBA loan documentation
• Familiarity with commercial loan closing documentation
• Highly Proficient with file management and PDF software, and MS Office suite
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to follow orders of senior legal staff and show initiative
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Paralegal certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists closing attorneys in file management
• Pulls reports required for closing
• Ordering and following up with title orders
• Prepares and compiles loan documentation in compliance with both internal and SBA requirements pursuant to the instructions of closing attorney
• Develops familiarity with all loan structures
• Other duties as assigned
