About The Position

The Global Finance Paralegal manages all aspects of large-scale financial transactions and will assist with research and document management. The position requires overtime. Duties and Responsibilities: Support lawyers in the Global Finance Group on commercial loans, securitizations and other corporate finance transactions; Draft and arrange for the recordation of U.C.C. financing statements and fixture filings and exhibits; Research Article 9 & U.C.C. issues; Obtain, review and analyze lien search reports and prepare lien summaries; Obtain incorporation/formation documents and prepare initial drafts of ancillary closing documents; Review, summarize and organize due diligence materials; Conduct, monitor or coordinate a closing and all post-closing activities; Review closing documents for completeness and compliance; Prepare and distribute closing books; Other responsibilities as assigned by the lawyers or paralegal manager

Requirements

  • BA/BS with strong academic credentials
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience at a medium or large law firm in banking or financial transactions
  • U.C.C. experience and demonstrated proficiency
  • Strong background in online immigration case management technology, including drafting and reporting
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good judgment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others
  • Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Able to work under pressure

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited program
  • Proficient in DocuSign
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients, partners, associates, paralegals and all staff members
