About The Position

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a multi-office national law firm, has an immediate opening for a full-time Paralegal in their Dallas, TX office. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The paralegal in this role will support attorneys handling civil litigation defense matters and involves direct collaboration with attorneys, clients, and firm staff.

Requirements

3+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, preferably in a high-volume law firm
Experience with state and federal court filings, including e-filing
Familiarity with billing practices and time entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Strong knowledge of medical records and ability to summarize them is a plus
Westlaw knowledge preferred
Paralegal certificate preferred

Responsibilities

Organize and review records, contracts, reports, and discovery materials
Prepare case chronologies and summaries as requested
Order medical, billing, and employment records
Draft and prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Manage subpoenas and related tracking
Prepare and submit materials to experts
Conduct legal and factual research
Coordinate communication with clients, witnesses, and experts
Perform background research on parties and experts
Assemble materials for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
Perform additional duties as assigned
